The ocean and beach are often inspirations in my work, but it was the under the sea challenge by the Blogging Business Artisans and a blog hop inspired by a photo of gathered shells by Jennifer on Art Jewelry Elements that got me playing with my beads again.

It's been a couple of weeks since I was left with an empty nest, but the lesson my Robin Mom (or is that Dad?) taught me is still with me.
Last week got away from me, but I'm back with another Fashion Storyboard!
Since I got to unpack and set up in a bigger studio space I've been able to put away everything in an organized manner. Me likey! You will too!I've found that I duplicated 4 jewelry lesson DVDs. Rather than set up on Amazon to sell I'm going to give them away over the next 4 weeks to some lucky readers. I've also got some tool duplicates that will follow in subsequent weeks.
There are two types of flowers I've wanted in my garden for a very long time: peonies and lilac. One of the delights of our new home are lots of lilac bushes and yes, several peonies! Our lilacs are young and will likely put on a great show next year, but the first bright pink peonies are blooming this week. Their sweet scent is just dreamy.
