Our first trip to Sicily a few years ago was a stop in Taormina.  It's a much better choice for first timers with its amazing views from the Greek/Roman Theater of Mount Etna and the sea.  The town is small with shops and restaurants lining the hilly streets.  In one shop we bought a kitchen clock that some Sicilian potter had made with a ring of colorful fruit painted on it.

First let me be honest, I never design jewelry with the Pantone colors that the fashion and home industry have said will be the in colors for the season.  However, I thought it would be kind of fun to see what I've got in my shop that coordinate with the Spring 2011 announced shades since we are seeing these colors in all the clothing shops.

I absolutely love my time in my studio designing, bending, hammering, drilling, squeezing, threading, etc., but it's not what I do to relax.  When I'm working on a piece of jewelry it takes all of my focus and attention.  It's why time flies and it's dinner time before I've even started thinking about preparing it!
