This whimsical one of a kind artisan necklace features a wonderful frog and lots of logs. It is about 30 inches in length that will easily fit over your head for a no clasp ease.
I got a little nostalgic while making this piece. As it came together I couldn't help but think about those fun outings with my friends where we'd have cocktails and play Frogger and Pac Man into the wee hours. Remember Frogger? The video game where you had to get the frog across traffic and rolling logs before an alligator got you? It was fun! No shoot 'em ups for me.
There are some gorgeous art beads in this one of a kind tunic length frog necklace:
Lampwork with frogs hanging on to a log - Meital Plotnik
Raku ceramic log right above the frogs - Lisa Peters
small round lampwork disc in lime green and browns - Outwest
lime lampwork with gold dust - Studio Juls
I took faceted Czech glass beads as well as wood beads made from twigs and created a rosary style chain with bronze wire and copper jump rings with a dark patina.
The copper chain at the focal looked like lily pads to me - so that's what they are!
Coordinating earrings as pictured are available here.
