This pair of vintage crystal, cream and silver lampwork earrings are one of my favorites.
I knew from the moment I put these Canyon Echoes' lampwork beads against some of my vintage crystal that I had an earring winner in what I'm calling Queen Anne's Lace after the lacy flower that crops up naturally in meadows and is adored by many. These earrings remind me of something Edwardian ladies would wear.
The lampwork is glass with a swirl of fine silver. Then it's capped at the bottom with a sterling silver bead. The top part is a vintage crystal rondelle and cat's eye glass in the same shade as the lampwork.
Sterling Silver posts keep these to only 1 inch in length from where they go into your ear. Surgical pads keep them on your lobes.
Have some place special to go? Little black dress that needs something new and special? Or just like the look of blue jeans and a brown leather jacket? I'm salivating at the last suggestion as I think these would look so great with that outfit! My bet is you'll find lots of places to wear them.
Note on photos: The cream and silver appear differently in different light. All photos are taken in natural light, but the last photo is taken without a white fabric filter. (The filter eliminates shadows.)
