These lampwork beads were some of the very first I ever purchased probably back in 2000. I loved the bumpy texture and the depth of color Andrea got out of layering colored glass in the center and clear on top. She is well known for this type of bead. They remind me of the sea, but yes, the charm is a fancy koi.
