What's a Basha bead? Quite a few years ago I purchased a few of these magical beads and just hoarded them. They're just so gorgeous. Barbara Metzger, an artist in Oregon, was one of the forerunners of lampwork artists and she wanted to create glass beads that looked like ancient glass, like Roman glass beads with their inner glow and matte exterior. She became known for these beads and they were sought out by collectors and jewelry artists alike. It was time this one made its way out into the world, don't you think?

* faceted pearls in a gorgeous sage green - I think I have maybe 4 left!
* keshi pearls in purple iridescence
* sterling silver lobster clasp and chain
