All of the participants of One World One Heart offered door prizes. The several weeks the event went on we tried to visit as many blogs as possible and leave comments on blogs that interested us. My intentions were to get to them all, but I fell way short since there were 871 participating bloggers from around the world! Fortunately I can still go back to the list and visit them in a more thoughtful manner. Visiting some I tagged and followed has also made it all worth while. On February 17th I found out that I'd won 2 door prizes! Both are very cool representations of the artist's work and neither are a media I work in so I'm thrilled to win them. One of them I will share once I get it up on the wall of my studio some time in April.
Carolyn is a paper arts artist and has the a crafty blog called Mess, Muddle and Fun, A crazy patchwork of creative enjoyment. I tried to take the photo so you could see the dimension and textures in these collaged cards. They're really beautiful and although I told her when I received them I didn't know whether to use them or frame them, I have made a decision after loving them some more. I'm going to frame them as one and put them up in one of our guest bedrooms! The colors are actually perfect for that bedroom. Thank you Carolyn! Keep on creating, blogging and dreaming!
