Wear What You Believe fashion storyboard
I believe every person has a story to tell. What's yours?
I found the comfy looking organic blue jeans on Rawganique. I'm fascinated by their story of living off the grid in a sustainable manner. Many of us are trying more and more to balance our lives with the impossible to avoid knowledge that we've reached earth's ability to sustain more human life. Most of us would have difficulty making the changes these folks have, but we can each make small changes that make a huge difference.
Although the "Every child..." saying is not on something a woman could wear, I couldn't resist this hand-dyed Baby Onesie for this fashion storyboard. It's by Wild Rose Arts and is available in their Etsy shop. What a reminder, eh?!
The All the Water long-sleeve tee though is one I can relate to and wear! It's from Green Label Organic who creates them with as little impact on the earth as possible. And they're made in the USA!
The statement necklaces are all from my studio and reflect my love for the ocean and its inhabitants. The first two were inspired by the Gulf Oil Spill in which I share in this post. The third is a mixed-media piece inspired by the loss of salmon habitat and the exciting news of the Elwha Dams being removed.

Each Thursday I host a linky party for fashion storyboards. Some of you have indicated you'd like some help on how to create them. Previously I've created them using templates and knowledge gained from Kim Klassen's Beyond Layers workshop in which we use PhotoShop. However, there are a few free sites that enable you to create collages (storyboards.) Polyvore is one that focuses on fashion, but you can also use sites like PhotoCollage that have very easy to use software and templates. You can use them for creating scrapbook pages, too. I used PhotoCollage for the one above. You can google "photo collage" and find many other sites.
