Etched bullet casings from Shari Replogle
Vintage carved plastic, bone, Swarovski crystal
One of the most iconic photos of the 1960's anti-war protests was the "Flower Power" one taken by the late Bernie Boston, a news photographer. It depicts a young man inserting carnations into the barrels of soldiers' guns. The soldiers were protecting the Pentagon during an anti-war demonstration.
That image can probably be recalled instantly with my description, but if not please click on the links in the paragraph above.
That photo was the inspiration for my new Flower Child Earrings (SOLD out)
There are a lot of new earrings in my shop, but here are some more featuring etched bullet casings:
Tribal Beat with turquoise and magnesite - SOLD

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. ~Dwight D. Eisenhower
