I think the true nature of a dog's love comes out when you attempt to take photos of them. Especially true when there are two of them or you make them wear hats or worse. Although I hadn't promised them cookies they know me pretty well. My dogs clearly love me and put up with the silliness long enough each year to get at least one good photo out of it.
You'll have to come back tomorrow to see the official annual greeting, but please enjoy a few of my favorite outtakes in the mean time.
